I’m Br. Nimrod Ondigo

I grew up in  a Mennonite church family and my father was a lay preacher. I was baptized in Mennoniten in mid 1996.The so called baptism was not through immersion. It was a rantizo type. In the early 2010, I met Brother Zablon who opened my eyes to the Truth on Grand Plan of the Ages. At first, I didn’t take it serious. In the following years,2011,Brother Zablon invited me to the congregation he was attending. He was an elder there and I was so inquisitive, I wanted to know much about religion and why he believed what he believed. I first came to know that Trinity is a pagan belief. I was shocked upon knowing that there is only ONE God. We used to believe in three God as one and our prayers were concluded on three names i.e. in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

That triggered a lot of enthusiasm to learn biblical truths and in 2012, I learned about the Kingdom of God, the Ransom and Restitution and Passover. I underwent a lot of Bible studies. I received a lot of articles from Brother Zablon and some articles that Brother Krussino brought when he visited Kenya. In the late 2012 I was given the lessons on baptism and then was later baptized by Brother Zablon.

In 2013-2017, I took a lot of time studying the Truth. I didn’t want to rush into standing before the congregation to teach. I was a “back bencher” and was not intending to be a preacher or a teacher of the word in any way. I was so quiet and later on I went  to study more on studies in the scriptures with the help of the Bible. In 2019,I was so eager to know much of the Truth but I was still so quiet.

Back in 2014, a friend of mine from a certain ministries offered to purchase for us a land in Kehancha, where I was living as I carried out my teaching career. God opened the door and we for a cheap land where they donated some funds to construct the hall of meeting. The ministry later abandoned us when they realized that we were teaching about one God. They were binitarians and Sabbath keepers. We later continued to worship on Sabbath up to date but held the truth from the Bible Students. In 2020,we met with Brother James from Nairobi when he came for the launch of new hall of meeting at Brother Zablon’s place. He realized something good in me also got to know that I was baptized by Brother Zablon.

When I went to Kitale Convention, my eyes were opened further to more truths from brothers who gave the discourses both one on one and through Zoom.

I was offered study materials which further eased my studies and interacting with brothers and sisters who have the brotherly love.

I later begun to correspond with brothers and sisters from outside Kenya through Zoom, WhatsApp, email etc and later on the vision of going to the radio station came into fruition and our beloved brothers and sisters started to support it.
